Master of Computer-Assisted Language Learning

Graduates understand the affordances and constraints of digital tools and materials for language learning, and will be able to design and implement a range of language learning activities, lessons, units and courses in a wide variety of educational settings from early childhood to tertiary, as well as in less formal contexts

Master of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages

The programme offers students thorough engagement with our current understanding of language acquisition, learning and teaching languages and English linguistics to allow them to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding they need as English language educators.

Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages 

Participants will develop critical awareness and understanding of principles and practices of learning and teaching English and how these can be applied in real learning environments to allow them to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding they need as English language educators. Can be the basis of further study to Masters level.

Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Teaching and Learning Languages)

This qualification offers educators at all levels thorough engagement with our current understanding of language acquisition and learning, language curriculum design and language policy. Can be the basis of further study to Masters level.

Master of Education (Teaching and Learning Languages)

This degree has a core of courses in language acquisition and learning which are complemented by other courses from the Learning & Teaching Languages suite or other courses on the MEd schedule or a research thesis.
